The Opportunity

We are partnering with this flourishing enterprise in their search for a proactive Financial Accountant. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the trial balance for UK operations.
  • Engage in month-end procedures, including journal preparations, ledger postings, reconciliations, and ensuring the sanctity of financial records.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of key ledger accounts’ movements.
  • Uphold a stringent control environment, conduct periodic balance sheet reconciliations, and address discrepancies.
  • Produce consolidated and individual financial statements, compliant with prevalent financial standards.
  • Collaborate with external auditing parties, facilitating audit preparations and documentation.
  • Handle VAT submissions, regulatory reporting, and other tax-related obligations.
  • Align closely with the financial planning and analysis team to aid in group reporting and budgeting endeavors.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, assessing the efficiency and design of existing systems and processes.
  • Pitch in for various project-related tasks as needed.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication prowess and an intrinsic drive to bring ideas to fruition within a dynamic setup.
  • Recent qualification in accountancy.
  • Solid foundational knowledge in the domain.
  • Track record of roles with similar responsibilities.
